McGaheysville, Virginia Inside Massanutten Resort

Seven Bedrooms, Sleeps Eighteen.
The Barrel Sauna Seats Six.

The Evergreen Retreat sits right inside Massanutten Resort, so the water park, ski slopes, and mini golf are a short drive away, not a day trip. Two game rooms, a home theater, and a private hot tub and sauna mean nobody's stuck deciding what to do next.

The Experience

Seven bedrooms mean everyone gets
their own corner to disappear into.

There's a reason groups book The Evergreen Retreat year after year. It doesn't just sleep eighteen, it gives eighteen people somewhere to go.

Kids disappear downstairs for hours between two full game rooms, six arcade machines, a pool table, air hockey, and skee-ball, while the bunk room's built-in cocktail arcade cabinet keeps the fun going well past the time lights-out was supposed to happen. Upstairs, the main level holds a gas fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with real counter space, and dining that seats the whole crew between the table and the island.

When the group's ready to slow down, the lower deck holds a hot tub, a barrel sauna built for six, and a pair of swinging egg chairs for whoever'd rather watch the stars than play skee-ball. The Evergreen Retreat sits inside Massanutten Resort in McGaheysville, Virginia, so the water park, ski slopes, and mini golf are a short drive away, not a whole day trip. Resort lift tickets and water park passes are sold separately and aren't included with your stay.

Two Decks and a Fire Pit

Dinner on the upper deck, s'mores on the lower one, and a fire pit for the nights that run late into the McGaheysville dark.

A Coffee Bar, Always Stocked

Someone's caffeinated before the day starts, no run into town required to keep the whole group moving.

Two Full Game Rooms

Pool table, air hockey, skee-ball, karaoke, and six arcade machines split across two rooms, so nobody's waiting a turn.

Massanutten's ski season books out early.

"The Evergreen Retreat was a perfect place to stay for our big family. The house had so much to do, we never wanted to leave. Jasmine and Dustin were very quick to respond, and when something needed fixing they sent a handyman right away. Excellent hosts, we'd stay here again."

"Our group had an amazing time and the place was just as described! Very clean, which we appreciated. We were glad to see such a stocked kitchen, and the game room downstairs had so many entertainment options. Would definitely stay here again."

"Really enjoyed our family reunion here. Perfect for children to distract themselves while adults could relax. Each family had their own private area, but it never felt like we were completely separate from everyone else. The theater room, especially during the World Cup, was the show stealer."
